New York City THC Becomes A 501 (c) (3) Tax Exempt Organization

Our dream has become a reality. The cause that is our passion has been transformed into a functional organization. We have established a board, clarified our mission, adopted our bylaws, incorporated, and finally we are pleased to inform you that the Internal Revenue Service has determined New York City Team Handball Club, Inc. is exempt from Federal Income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS Code.

All contributions to our organization are deductible under section 170 of the Code.

This determination qualifies us to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. Organizations exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Code are further classified as either public charities or private foundations.

IRS determined that New York City Team Handball Club, Inc. is a public charity.

New York City Team Handball Clubs mission statement is to promote, teach, organize, and introduce the Olympic sport of team handball to all people and to develop their character through team handball, emphasizing the ideals of fairplay, cooperation, responsibility and respect.

We intend to reaching out to all the people who otherwise would not have the opportunity to learn and play team handball and provide them the tools, and knowledge to learn the sport.

Introducing the opportunity to fully develop their team handball skills and competitive potential for a lifetime of enjoyment. Instilling the values of hard work, cooperation and leadership excellence.
